Biomedical Research Labs is a tenant fit-out of the 4th floor of the Tech Town business and research incubator.  The research is concentrated in Drug Discovery, X-ray, Cytogenetic and DNA Research. 

The landlord provided the tenant fit out and contracted for an occupancy date which resulted in a 5 month schedule for design through completed construction.  Given the long lead time for lab equipment, the DD/CD phase was consolidated from 12 weeks to 4.  This was accomplished by strong team coordination between the lab architect and the contractor.  Together the team was able to streamline the documentation process and make cost informed product decisions.  

The excellent collaborative process and communications established between the Construction Manager and iDesign resulted in a laboratory equipment package that was within budget as well as delivered and installed within the contracted deadline.
