The Applebaum Building for the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences was built in 2002. The original design included shelled space to accommodate future growth. The project included the fit-out of a BSL-2 laboratory, equipment room, offices, and a mosquito incubator lab, which studies the insect’s ability to spread blood-borne diseases.
-
By planning for a separate equipment room, iDesign was able to minimize system demand and improve occupant comfort in the lab by managing the heat load and noise generated.
